Wyoming Operations/Guide Dirk Jenkins Owner
Wyoming Operations. Born and raised in the mountains of
Wyoming. Dirk Has over 20 years experience as a Professional
Guide in most of the Western United States. Dirk's Father
Larry Jenkins Has been an Outfitter for over 40 years. Growing
up with that experience, Dirk knows what it takes to make your
experience in the outdoors memorable for a lifetime.
Justin Klient – Owner, Kansas
Operations/Guide
Justin has Many years of experience in the outfitting
industry. He has some great ground to hunt in Kansas and
Nebraska. Justin manages his ground for trophy class mule
deer and whitetail deer. Justin’s turkey hunts are second to
none.
Greg Pachie
- Guide
Born in California Greg's passion for hunting started at
an early age. Greg's work ethic and hunting skills make
him a HUGE part of the GPO Team. Greg's specialty is
hunting high mountain Mule Deer.
When Greg is not hunting or scouting he can be found team
roping or working on his Wyoming ranch.
Colbie
Libsack - Guide
Colbie joined the GPO team full
time in 2009 he quickly became a vital asset to the team.
Raised on the banks of the North Platte River in western
Nebraska, Colbie grew up farming and ranching. Colbie's
knowledge of the outdoors and his work ethic make him a
great addition to the GPO team.
Mike Clark - Guide - Team GPO Taxidermist
Mike was born and raised in the mountains of
western Wyoming. He has 30 years experience as a professional
guide. Mike turned his passion for the outdoors into his
career when he opened his own taxidermy business. Mikes
specialty is hunting high mountain Mule Deer horseback, but he
will never pass up a good old Whitetail hunt either. Adding
Mike to the team has proved to be a great asset for GPO.
Shawn Merritt - Guide
Shawn was also born and raised in the mountains
of western Wyoming. Shawn's creative personality is a huge
addition to team GPO. Shawn is our #1 Mountain Lion guide, but
has also honed his Mule Deer skills. Shawn now has moved back
to western Wyoming with his wife and 2 children and is ready
for his next adventure.
Ryan
Merritt - Guide
Ryan owns and operates Smokey Canyon Outfitters in Western Wyoming and Eastern Idaho. Dirk and Ryan team up on many hunts through out Wyoming and Idaho. This has turned out to be a HUGE asset for both GPO and SCO. They plan to keep offering these special hunts for clients for years to come. Ryan lives in Western Wyoming with his wife Faylene and there 4 children.
Toren
Merritt - Guide
Toren also joined GPO in the fall of 2010. Toren's love for the outdoors is evident in his work. When he is not guiding he can be found Trapping Marten or Beaver through out western Wyoming. Toren makes his home in western Wyoming with his wife and son.
Brock Mortenson- Guide
Brock joined GPO in the fall of 2010 and quickly became a valuable asset. Brocks horseback and client relation skills make him a huge asset to GPO. Brock has traveled the world in his career as a Professional Bull Rider, now he makes home in eastern Idaho where he runs a granite countertop business when he is not guiding.
Shad Shimic- Guide
Shad was raised in Eastern Wyoming where he has honed his skills as one of the areas top Waterfowl Guides. Shad joined GPO in 2010 and quickly became a very valuable part of the team. Shads Hunting and people skills are second to none. Shad now lives in Torrington Wyoming where he and his family run a VERY successful Steakhouse "The Bucking Horse" if your in Torrington stop in and have a steak, you wont be disappointed.
